There is much talk about the Sony PS3 and Linuxmce at the same time there are many challenges with doing this. The Current code is based on i386 and AMD and the sony play station is a PPC / Cell processor.
Once most of the issue are resolved I will post this as new packages to the CellC processor have to be built andIhave done a few already. The Play Station has more than enough processing power and the trick is to use thememory wisely.

Download a KuBuntu version for the PS3
Use settings on the PS3 Console and use the otherOS now Install this on the PS3
Download the lmce source

With lmce in /usr/src/lmce you can begin with the long process
Be Patient this ia 24/48hour task for the first round

Nvidia on Laptop works with the patch but then you cant get back to an external screen.
for npw i have two files one for the laptop and one for the external screen as i am still checking this out. it bascially replaces the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file when needed.

I have also be luck to have found the Mvix Soure code
