The D-Link DGS-2205 is a 5-port 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Switch that delivers power, performance, and reliability in one cost-effective, space-saving design. Increase the speed of your network server and backbone connections, or make Gigabit to the desktop a reality.
Power users in the home, office, workgroup, or creative production environment can now move large, bandwidth-intensive files faster. Transfer graphics, CGI, CAD, or multimedia files across the network instantly.
The device gives a visual feedback with orange LED for 100Mbit connection and Green LED for Gigabit connection. Power consumption is just over 5Watts Maximum.
How to Configure this Device with LMCE
Plug and Play with LMCE 7.10 RC2 i386. I installed them and have not touched them in over 2 months - no reboots, nothing
The Picture shows one of mine wall mounted. the second one I have is on a desktop. They were both purchased from Amazon.com for $34.99 each and had a $10 mail in rebate, the rebate is still working (May '09)
