Elite Computer Group KA3 MVP (V1.0A)
Works fine as a Core/Hybrid or Media Director with LinuxMCE Version 0710 i386 (32bit), the Gigabit ethernet port does not work under amd64 (64bit), not even after manually installing the latest driver (version 1.2.3-3) from http://sourceforge.net/projects/et131x (note that "make modules_install" will put the kernel module in the wrong directory).
The driver for the Gigabit ethernet port is not included in the default LMCE diskless Media Director image. Either turn it off in the BIOS (one has to be disabled anyway) or update the ramdisk image as described on the "Unrecognized NIC" page to include the et131x kernel module (and disable the 100Mbit one). This does not apply when using the board in a Core/Hybrid.
On a sidenote for the future: the kernel of (k)ubuntu 8.4 seems to be needing the folowing extra bootparameters: acpi=off noapic nolapic irqpoll all_generic_ide pci=nomsi (maybe not all). The gigabit ethernet port doesn't work on 64bit here either, not even with the latest driver from source.
