- small factor
- nice front panel
- integrated keyboard IR Remote (I think it's LinuxMCE compatible)
- LCD display although not sure if it can be used under Linux
- NVidia chipset I hope is right for new GUI
- Price ???
--User:TR 15:27, 28 December 2007 (EST) The Shuttle SFF is no longer available at the above link. Looking for similar unit now.
The SG33G5 model w/ a 2.4GHz core2duo and 2GB ram runs Mythbuntu frontend and backend very smoothly. I'm sure it could easliy be used for LinuxMCE front end. Not sure about making it a front end back end combo since there is little room for additional network cards, tv tunners, esata cards, etc. It comes w/ one x16 PCIe slot and one PCI slot.
--Jamz 11:17, 13 June 2008 (PDT) There are a several current Shuttle XPC options to choose from. I recently ordered for the SD30G2+ and planning to combine that with a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 950 Hybrid TV Stick. XPC will be coming with an Intel 945GC Express chipset, Intel GMA 950 display, and two-(2) spare expansion slots (PCI and PCI-Express), Marvell 88E8001 gigabit ethernet. Updates once the rig is arrives/setup.
