== Roku Netflix Player™ LMCE Guide ==

The [http://www.roku.com/netflixplayer/ Roku Netflix Player™] is a great little device if you are really interested in using the [http://www.netflix.com Netflix™] Streaming video service. That's right, you don't need to hack away at installing IE in linux, to use this great service. This box weighs in at $99.95 US, and has the ability to be output to any kind of video device either standard composite yellow, red, white, to s-video + optical to the best which uses HDMI. The box is quite small just about the size of a good paper back book, and requires a minimum service plan of $8.99/mo US. Most of us US residents already have this plan or better, so getting this little box, was a no-brainer. You can see from the images below, that it is quite a functional little piece of hardware:

* Choice 1 - Hooked up to an internal/external capture device (best way for use by all MD's)
** Fire up the Setup wizard and tell sarah what it is hooked to
** When you get to the input screen under the Media Player wizard, choose the proper pvr input, and then select the player the choices presented under Roku
* Choice 2 - Hooked to an LMCE controlled AV receiver (Local use only)
**Use the connection manager at the top of the A/V Devices page in [[LinuxMCE Admin Website]], and select the room the Netflix Player is installed in, and then draw the appropriate pipes for audio and video to your A/V receiver or TV

That is mostly it. Now either way LMCE will control your netflix player. I recommend using a capture card so that it can be used on all Media Directors, but If you just want it in your main theater, simply pipe its audio and video outputs to your appropriate LMCE controlled device.
