Hauppauge Nova-T is in fact a series of cards, which card(s) is this article referring to?
A blog entry describing howto install and configure this card is here: http://tperl.blogspot.com/2007/10/hauppauge-wintv-nova-t-stick-under.html
According to the author, this card works great in Debian. Haven't tried with LinuxMCE...

Other comment: The card seems to work ok but then it crashes and the screen freezes up.
Hopefully its just a small problem. It will still record if a recording has been started but the screen locks up on the core.
Will update if I find out more.
