I am running two of these units; both as Media Directors.  My living room x1200
has been running for over 6 month no issues.  The bedroom #2 x1200 has been up since
4-23-11.


During the setup for the bedroom #2 Media Director I used UI1 and a standard wireless
mouse.  As well to this I got HDMI auido working by shelling into the MD via the core and
running alsamixer unmuting everything.  Then alsactl store to save.  Re-ran the audio/video
setup and now I have HDMI audio.

All in all this unit does what a Media Director should.  And if that front bezel
gives you hell; buy a case for $50.00, find a motherboard back plate that works and upgrade
the case.  If all else front bezels are like $30.00 on ebay.
 
PS: Small kittens will sleep on you're cpu exhaust port at night.  Causing a high
pitch sound coming from the CPU cooler fan going full out.
