Used as MD

I am running two of these units; both as Media Directors. My living room x1200

has been running for over 6 month no issues. The bedroom #2 x1200 has been up since 4-23-11.

During the setup for the bedroom #2 Media Director I used UI1 and a standard wireless

mouse. As well to this I got HDMI auido working by shelling into the MD via the core and running alsamixer unmuting everything. Then alsactl store to save. Re-ran the audio/video setup and no I have HDMI audio.

On the downside the front bezels always seem to break there retaining tabs. A few well

places dabs of silicone will normally clear this up. I plan to replace the cases on the x1200 with maby a Linkworld matx case.

As well I have not tested the card readers as of yet.
Other than this I have had little or no issues with these units. Then only thing I would

requimend is 4G ram rather than the 2G I am running. This would speed up the UI2 but both UI1/UI2 plus UI with trans work well.
