<br>Next week will see NCSoft’s Throne and Liberty finally get its Western release after a rocky start in Korea last year. But the live service game has seemingly matured over the past few months. The developer is clearly listening to its community - player numbers have almost doubled in South Korea since the game’s lukewarm reception way back in December 2023. Each time you level up, you increase one of your main stats, but every single one of them is helpful for every single class. Even greatsword wielders need mana, and even spellcasters need strength. For someone like me, who tends to be indecisive when it comes to RPG builds, this kind of flexibility amounts to a quality-of-life feature . The staff focuses on dealing damage through elemental effects like fire, water, and ice.
