Scenarios Security

This page was written by Pluto and imported with their permission when LinuxMCE branched off in February, 2007. In general any information should apply to LinuxMCE. However, this page should be edited to reflect changes to LinuxMCE and remove old references to Pluto.

Check "Button to arm & disarm system" if you want a button to control the alarm system from within that room. You can also add a button to view all cameras, as well as shortcuts to individual cameras, and shortcuts to view 4 cameras at a time with "New Quad Camera scenario". If you add the "SOS Button", touching that button will fire the SOS Event. You can use the 'Advanced/Scenarios' editor to add particular actions for each SOS button in each room, or add an event handler to indicate what you want to happen when the SOS Event is sent from anywhere in the house. Normally this would be placing an emergency call to the police with all the Media Directors and telephones pathed in simultaneously.
