IPTV can deliver more content to your LinuxMCE system on-demand. Software such as Miro automatically downloads audio/video through RSS feeds via HTTP/FTP/Bittorrent. Software similar to this should be built into LinuxMCE.

Wishlist

  • Support for RSS/ATOM feeds
  • Scheduled updates and downloading of media
  • Tag media as downloaded from the net
  • Tag new downloaded media as unwatched
  • Automatic transfer of new media to a music phone, etc. via Bluetooth on detection
