This page is a guide to inform you of the formats for the best performance from your LinuxMCE installation. Dont fret if your existing drives are not in the listed formats, but its a good idea to setup new ones in this manner.

Drive Purpose	Drive Format
Operating System	Ext3 or Ext4
Media Storage	XFS
