Controlling an MD with a Virtual Keyboard and Mouse

Control any Media Director with another machines keyboard and mouse using an application called Synergy.

Setting Up

From a Linux machine on the LMCE network:

1. 1. apt-get install synergy
2. 2. nano synergy_md.conf
3. 3. Type the following in synergy_md.conf:

   section: screens
         hostPCname:
         moonxx:
   end
   section: links

hostPCname: up = moonxx

       moonxx:
       down = hostPCname
    end

1. 4. synergy -c synergy_md.conf
