I have an xbox 360 that has to have the mtu set at 1500 or I cannot log into xbox live. This page works great, even on reboots, but if the cable modem goes down, the the interfaces file gets over written and I have to do this all over again and reboot the core. What would cause the interfaces file to be over written and how can I prevent it from happening?
