Contained on this page are my notes for upcoming features for the Game Player. Users wishing to add additional feature requests should probably do it on the Talk:Game Player TODO page. If I can do it in my schedule, I will move it here.

Short Term Changes

  • Finish adding support for Atari, Commodore, and Apple 8-bit computers
    • Map and refine keys

    • Figure out how to handle games with multiple disks.

TOSEC-PIX

  • Consolidate TOSEC-PIX into a metadata repository, from which to gather game manuals for various systems.
  • Devise an architecture to store this information so that it can be fetched by the system when a game is discovered on disk and cached.
  • Present a UI so that a user can press a button for more information, and read the manual.
