Changing Ringtones of OnScreen Orbiters
The standard ringtone for mediadirectors in linuxmce is called "oldphone". If You want to change that, You can easily choose from 7 other ringtones.The telecom application for the OnScreen Orbiters is called linphone. As of now there are the following ringtones:
- bigben.wav oldphone.wav orig.wav rock.wav sweet.wav synth.wav tapping.wav toy.wav
Changing Ringtones
- ssh into Your DCErouter or open up a terminal from the KDE Desktop
- become root
sudo su
- edit the linphone template
vim /usr/pluto/templates/simplephone.conf
You can use any other editor, maybe nano (apt-get install nano)
nano /usr/pluto/templates/simplephone.conf
- change line from
local_ring=/usr/share/sounds/linphone/rings/oldphone.wav
- to i.e.:
local_ring=/usr/share/sounds/linphone/rings/sweet.wav
- save the changes!
- finally restart the core (maybe a reload router is also doing the job?)
Custom Ringtones
It should be possible to use custom ringtones. But they have to be on every md-image:
/usr/pluto/diskless/xy/usr/share/sounds/linphone/rings/
