Elden Ring: Caria Manor Walkthrough

From LinuxMCE

While you are fighting the knights, you can keep Commander Niall at a distance, and he won't pose any significant threat to you (yet). One of the Banished Knights wields dual swords, while the other has a sword and shield. The dual sword knight is far more aggressive and dangerous, so killing him should be your top priority. After the first knight is dead, you can choose to either leave the shield knight alive for a little while or kill him if he's putting too much pressure. You might want to leave the second knight alive for a while because killing both knights results in Commander Niall immediately entering his second ph

After resting at the site of grace, head deeper into the catacombs until you reach an elevator platform. Ride this down to the bottom and proceed down the next hall. You’ll encounter two Imps in the next room, lurking around the corners. Dispatch them and loot the Root Resin at the far end of the r

At the end of the hall, you’ll enter a large room with a staircase running up the left side and a shadowy recess beneath the next landing. Beneath the next landing, you’ll find a sleeping Omen . Defeat it or sneak past it to acquire the Grave Glovewort [3] behind

You will find Rimed Crystal Bud crafting items throughout the area, along with Rowa Fruit growing from red bushes. The small and large Fingercreepers will drop Smithing Stone [2] or Somber Smithing Stone [2] . At the central fountain, you will also find x3 Smithing Stone [2] items. Be careful, though, as the fountain itself is crawling with smaller Fingercreepers. Be wary throughout this courtyard area; the Fingercreepers are hanging from almost everyth

Return to the Manor Lower Level site of grace and head back out onto the walkways, this time taking the straight path, rather than the left one. Be careful with the spirit of Carian Knights, as they have a tendency to spawn behind you as well as ahead of you. Clear out the knights along the path, following it all the way until you reach the stairs leading to the elevator. Take the elevator up and rest at the Manor Upper-Level site of gr

Red Wolf of Radagon’s jaws will flash blue briefly before it leaps high into the air, greenish blue magic trailing below it. Once it reaches the top of the jump, Red Wolf will cast the Comet spell from its mouth, sending a single blast of magic toward you. Once you recognize the leap and trail of magic from its mouth, ready to do

Before you proceed, head back down the elevator to the walkway you were just on. If you look southeast and down, you’ll spot a walkway you can reach. Take a running jump and leap down there. Loot the corpse with x8 Rimed Crystal Bud, then head left/north down the wooden stairs. Beneath the stairs, you will find a corpse carrying one Golden Rune [3] . The path dead-ends on this side, so head back up the stairs and head across the way and down the next set of wooden stairs. As you round the corner, you’ll spy four small Fingercreepers hanging out. After slaying the Fingercreepers, loot the corpse just beyond them to acquire Urumi , a unique bladed whip wea

After a hard-fought battle and knowing the attacks Red Wolf of Radagon will employ, you will surely achieve victory. It might take some patience and a twitchier dodge button than usual, but keep at it. Upon defeat, you’ll receive 14,000 Runes and a Memory Stone , which will grant you an additional spell s

Loretta is immune to status effects , so if you’ve been relying on a Bleed, Frost, or Scarlet Rot build, you’ll need to rethink your regular strategy. She also has some hefty magic and fire absorption , so any magic or fire attacks will be reduced in damaging her. Loretta has no Lightning damage absorption to speak of, so if you have any lightning incantations or weapon enchantments, they’ll come in handy during this fi

The path to the left will eventually lead to a Rune Arc and the Sword of Night and Flame , one of the powerful and unique weapons of Elden Ring bosses Elden Ring rune farming. After you’ve taken the left path to the end and acquired the Rune Arc on the back side of the final tower walkway, start heading back the way you came, but look down to the right (northeast). You’ll spot a rooftop landing below. Run and jump down to the rooftop, then drop down to the next rooftop to the north. There, you’ll spot a ladder heading down into a building. Slide down the ladder , and you’ll find yourself in a previously inaccessible room. The chest in this room contains the Sword of Night and Fl

When you pass through the fog door and confront the boss, Commander Niall will immediately start summoning two Banished Knights to assist him. If you are using Spirit Ashes for this fight, make sure to summon your helper as soon as you enter the boss arena because the enemies will start attacking you right after they appear. Ideally, you should allow your Spirit Ashes to distract one or both Banished Knights before attacking so that you can begin the fight more smoothly. If you happen to have Bewitching Branches, you can charm the two Banished Knights and have a much easier time fighting the boss, but this is not a necess
