Pros:
- small factor
- stylish design
- integrated IR Remote
- integrated Bluetooth dongle
- integrated WiFi (i. e. access point)
- absolutely quiet

Cons:
- cannot PXE boot easily but I'm sure there is a way to boot Mac Mini as Media Director using elilo
