Support in LinuxMCE

The device is supported plug and play by LinuxMCE. It will be used as a microphone for the embedded orbiter phone (aka SimplePhone), which is used for making phone calls and for the Intercom functionality. Installing the device is as simple as:

• Step 1: Attach the Phoenix Solo USB device to the media director
• Step 2: Attach a set of computer speakers to the speaker port on the back.
• Step 3: ....There's no Step 3....There's no step 3....

Nothing else is required, you can instantly use the phone functionality, and the embedded orbiter phone will use the microphone for both input and output.
