Google changed their certificates. The following change needs to be made in the script and manual instructions.
Remove: cat /etc/ssl/certs/Thawte_Premium_Server_CA.pem >> cacert.pem
Add: cat /etc/ssl/certs/Equifax_Secure_CA.pem >> cacert.pem
