Using Security alerts on your mobile phone

This page was written by Pluto and imported with their permission when LinuxMCE branched off in February, 2007. In general any information should apply to LinuxMCE. However, this page should be edited to reflect changes to LinuxMCE and remove old references to Pluto.
Description of HW setup :

I use Sipura 3000 VOIP-POTS adapter that connects two devices to Pluto's Asterisk PBX. One is doorphone (that is actually normal analog phone) and other is analog FXO output to my Siemens GSM gateway (makes my calls much cheaper - instead of expensive ISDN-GSM calls only GSM-GSM calls are triggered when I call cell phone from my house).

I have two output lines in my home : A. ISDN line that will be used to call only security calls to my cell phone (but currently Pluto's Asterisk is missing zaphfc modules so I cannot use this line, so made a hack to use temporarily GSM gateway line for security calls) B. GSM gateway that is used for all normal incoming/outgoing cellular calls from/to my house

Steps to setup and use Security alerts in described setup

  1. Set everything needed under pluto-admin -> wizard -> security]
  1. Set Caller ID from which you want to make security calls
    1. go to pluto-admin -> advanced -> network -> wap/grps settings and set caller id
  1. Correct outgoing number that is called on security breach in pluto-admin -> advanced -> configuration -> phones setup

I'm from Slovenia and there are no Phone providers that Pluto has support for. Therefore my setup is basically a hack - I use Teliax as provider and edited all settings accordingly (basically whole routing stuff is added to Pluto only after you pick one of providers) and also had to do few manual changes I don't even remember. Have suggested to Pluto guys to provide generic dummy provider that will let user to use all routing features of Pluto without being connected to any of Pluto's providers. I spotted that '91' gets prepend on my security calls, so I have to make small adjustment to pick that 91X pattern and remove 91 before actuall call on my ISDN output...

I went into Outbound Routing and added '91041.' to my GSM gateway Dial Patterns to pick that 91 prepended number too. I had to make this fix cause of problems described in ISDN output line description.

  1. reload router so new settings get sent to Mobile Orbiter (but be sure check "send vmc" from your mobile orbiter device before that)
  1. now set Pluto to "armed' state, trip sensor and see what will happen.

Proper behaviour : - if call is made with proper Id that matches that from 1. you'll get an option to open browser and see picture of alert and also receive call with voice menu

- if caller id doesn't match, you just receive call with security voice menu....

Beware: Under 0.43 pictures are not yet shown properyl - we're trouble shooting it now, so I guess it should work on 0.44 when released..

go to pluto-admin > security > active sensors and set Reaction to sensor for a Smoke Detector to Fire

go to pluto-admin > security > active sensors and set Reaction to sensor for a Motion detectr sensor to Security

arm the alarm panel, trip the sensor and you should be asked to enter pin to disable the alarm. if no pin code is entered the alarm will start, and the md's will play an mpg file. Not verifiedOK, it's workingFailedBlocked Mantis: 74. Cellphone notifications

to enable go to go to pluto-admin > security > active sensors and check 'N'. the mobile phone needs to be configured in pluto-admin > security > cellphone notifications

after the alarm is tripped you'll receive a call form pluto and you should hear a voice menu. test all 5 items: 1. reset // reset alarm 2. ignore // ignore but let pluto notify the others in the list 3. fire sos // should make a conference with sos entries from cellphone notification page 4. call neighbours // conference with the neighbours 5. speak in the house // speak on all the md's from the house Not verifiedOK, it's workingFailedBlocked Mantis: 75. add the device and go to pluto-admin > Security > Security - Video links set camera for sensor Not verifiedOK, it's workingFailedBlocked Mantis: 76. Wap page

change the ip of the pluto installation to be routable ip (so you can access the computer with gprs mobile phone) and check wap page using this link http://82.77.255.210/pluto-admin/check.wml

to change the ip go to pluto-admin > advanced settings > network > network settings CORE IP:82.77.255.210 Subnet mask:255.255.255.192 Gateway:82.77.255.193 Update

add scenarios, see cameras, speak in the house. for security alerts go to http://82.77.255.210/pluto-admin/check.wml?security=0 Not verifiedOK, it's workingFailedBlocked Mantis: Motion Status/Mantis ID Comments 77. Add Camera

go to wizard > devices > security cameras; add generic analog camera, firewire camera or ip camera. a new security scenario is created with the name of the room, you should egen all screens.

check wizard > advanced > configuration; camera should be a child of Motion Wrapper
