If these items are a part of the gameplay mechanics, it would be great if you could also customize them to some extent. In order to compete with genre juggernauts, Nickelodeon: All-Stars Brawl could easily set itself apart with weapons or items that are attached to specific characters.

Tag team game modes are almost a given in a multiplayer brawl game like this one . There are a few moments within the trailer that show a couple of characters teaming up against another player. This could very well just be a free-for-all situation but more than likely the trailer is slyly pointing to team-based modes.

While character entrances probably won't dynamically change gameplay, they will at least flesh out each character's respective Nickelodeon universe. Perhaps the trailer is alluding to unlockable or secret animations that can be equipped from a character screen.
