I don't know anything about linux. it's been a month 1/2, i'm trying to figured how to make it work properly. it take me so long because i don't play with it everyday. I like to at least put 2 hours aside to test it.

My adventure
I followed the instruction of linuxmce installation for the quick install DVD. at the end of the installation the computer reboot to a black screen. i search the site, didn't find anything about it. After many reboot and try several time the What to do if A/V Wizard does not start, i decided to used the dvi port by putting a adapter to my monitor VGA. it works. On the screen i have the house setup wizard. i went thru the setup. first thing i need to fix was my video. I restart my computer to get the A/V wizard. I setup the video properly.
At the time of installation my Wintv-PVR150 wasn't received yet. I received it and installed it. When thru the pluto admin / media director and added it (http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/MythTV). in the new capture card in Myth TV, i'm getting an error "cannot open".
Not knowing linux put me in a predicament. I like to understand how things work.
