== Introduction: ==
In early April (2008) I 'stumbling' on Linux MCE after watching a YouTube Video that pitted Linux MCE against Microsoft MCE. As I watched & listened, I found myself thinking: "Oh, Come on! This is a joke... Right?" I mean, no FREE software can do every thing that was being demonstrated... Could it???" Shortly after finishing the video I found myself pouring through the wiki (seemed pretty 'real' the more I read!) After I'd devoured the wiki (at least five times) I next found myself 'lurking' more and more on the IRC channel just watching and listening... After many days of listening to constant chat about how to fix this problem or that issue - as well as people ranting and raveing about this or that feature; I found myself chatting to the Developers and Users before I finally decided to 'take the plunge' and try the software for myself!
This wiki entry outlines all of the hardware that I'm currently using to run my Linux MCE (Beta 4) setup... Please check back regularly as I'm constantly updating the hardware as more and more hardware becomes pnp (Plug-N-Play) with Linux MCE.
