The Denon receiver's integration with LinuxMCE was almost plug'n'play. It was not detected automatically, but all I had to do was select the model from the list when Sarah prompted me.
The only setup I did on the receiver itself was to run Auto Setup which uses the mic to detect phase delay, speaker size, and EQ the room. Doing that hugely improved the sound quality.
